#4 Mercury

I’m having one of those weeks where I’m watching and reading a lot about space. Living in the US has one major advantage, as a space geek I can walk into many museums and centers that have space memorabilia. Here is the Mercury 9 capsule at the Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX that orbited in the early 60s. It’s pretty insane how those guys at the time flew into space basically in a tin can, and made it look easy (January 2018)
