#5 Last man on the moon

These are Eugene Cernan’s boots and gloves worn on the moon in December ’72 during the last manned flight to the moon on Apollo 17. You can still see the moon dust on the gloves and boots, just crazy… And these boots left the last footprints on the moon to this date! Another example of how cool it is to just be able to walk into the Smithsonian in Washington DC (for free!!) and see this little bit of space history. (March 2015)
