#17 Cherry blossoms

This time of year is really nice, the trees are growing with leaves, the grass is turning green and people are coming out of their homes to exercise or go for a walk. And of course in Texas, as I already mentioned in my first blog post, the bluebonnets come out in full force. And some trees grow cherry blossoms, the lovely pink flower that grows before the leaves come out. I remember a few years ago in San Francisco when I was photographing for my book (365 photos in 365 days), that I took this shot of the cherry blossoms in Japantown. Just a nice reminder of the time of year. (April 2011)
