#23 Manila freeway

The fun part about traveling is the different impressions you get from each place you visit. In Manila, right off the bat things are different, even standing in line for the passport control is way different than Holland or the US. The obvious parts are different, the food, the people, the buildings, the language, the cars, and driving on the freeway is different too. Jeepneys coming from everywhere, the shanty towns you drive by, and of course the views in general of the city. I never appreciated this photograph until I went through my library of photos, it’s a pretty good impression of driving on the Manila freeway somewhere relatively close to the airport back to the city.
